NOMINATING DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI

VINCENNES LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL

PROCEDURE:

This year after January 2, 2000, a short explanation and a nomination form will be made available to Academic Society members via their renewal letter and the public via local banks and grocery stores. Nominations will be screened and selected by the Board of Directors of the Lincoln High School Academic Society. Each year a given number of awards will be presented. Nominations not selected during a given year will be retained for consideration in subsequent years.

Nomination forms are also available at Vincennes Lincoln High School, 1545 Hart Street, Vincennes, Indiana 47591. Please complete the nomination form in as much detail as possible. The deadline for applications to be considered for the upcoming Homecoming presentation is March 1, 2000.

CRITERIA:

1) The nominee must be a Vincennes Lincoln High School graduate, living or deceased.

2) The nominee must have been out of high school for at least ten years.

3) A nominee who is nominated many times by different people will be looked at more carefully

by the board. It is helpful to the Board to have supporting nominations from many people.

4) All decisions of the LHSAS Board of Directors will be final.
