GEORGE FORD

Ford is a 1963 Lincoln graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Greenville (IL) College and obtained a master's degree from State University of New York College at Brockport and a doctorate in education administration from SUNY at Buffalo N.Y. He also is an ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church.

Ford was president of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AK. John Brown University is a four-year Christian liberal arts college, founded in 1919, and enrolls about 1,000 students.

He was a member of Greenville College’s development staff from 1971 to 1977 and director of church and alumni relations at Fuller Theological Seminary in California from 1977 to 1981. A past vice-president of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y., since 1981, he was senior vice president for administration and advancement.
