Residing in Stonington, Connecticut, Mark Morgan is vice-president, finance, supporting worldwide research and development at Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company, the world's largest drug firm. During the past 25 years he has held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing and research. While developing experience in global trade, he conducted business in 10 nations and at one time he and his family lived in Europe.

Prior to his Pfizer assignments Morgan was senior director, finance, in the pharmaceutical sector of Warner-Lambert Company. Earlier he had been with S. C. Johnson & Son and with Sterling Drug Company in accounting and financial responsibilities.

Morgan graduated from Lincoln High School with honors in 1972. He was class vice-president for three years and a member of several clubs and organizations. He was editor of both the Old Post Sentinel newspaper and Lincoln Log yearbook.

He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana State University in 1976 and a master's degree in business administration from Illinois State University in 1984 with highest honors. As an adjunct professor in evening classes, he taught all courses in the accounting curriculum during 22 semesters at Carthage College in Wisconsin and in the University of Wisconsin system.

Morgan's articles have appeared in accounting and financial journals, and he frequently is a speaker at business conferences.

Active in youth activities, Morgan has coached in youth sports programs and led Cub Scout groups, which included involving scouts in community service projects. Among these youth groups were underprivileged children Morgan mentored to instill character building and self-esteem. He has been a moderator of his church congregation and chairman of the finance committee.

Currently he is co-chair of a Pfizer group that donates time and materials to help maintain Camp Horizons, an assisted living camp for mentally challenged individuals.

Morgan is married to the former Jody Orndorff, a 1973 Lincoln graduate, and they have two children, Matthew and Christopher. Morgan is the son of Bill and Nelda Morgan and his wife is the daughter of Arnie and Marilyn Orndorff. Morgan's father died this past summer. The other parents still reside in Vincennes.
