Recycling Information
In every classroom there is a green bin.
The following items are not to be recycled;
Construction Paper
Contact Paper
Pop Bottle Caps
Paper/Newspaper Wads
Tissues
Cellophane/Gum Wrappers
Every day the the Landmark students will sort the items during their lunch period. The homerooms are responsible for the pick-up and sorting rotate on a weekly basis. The city will then pick-up the items every Tuesday.
By Recycling 1 ton of paper you save:
· 17 trees
· 6953 gallons of water
· 463 gallons of oil
· 587 pounds of air pollution
· 3.06 cubic yards of landfill space
· 4077 Kilowatt hours of energy
At Clark we feel that recycling is very important. So please do your part!
