Curriculum and Instruction
Welcome to the Vincennes Community School Corporation Curriculum and Instruction page. The role of our department is to guide, coordinate, implement and evaluate curriculum and instruction throughout the district. We also provide professional development for our staff to support continuous improvement of instruction and learning for our students in grades K-6. We are dedicated to providing our students with the skills to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing world.
Dr. Christina Lange: Elementary Curriculum Coach
Dr. Lange is in her16th year in education. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master’s degree in Education, and Oakland City University with her Doctorate in Education. Over the years, Dr. Lange has worked as a kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade teacher, as well as a Title 1 Lead Teacher where she worked with all grade levels. She has also had the privilege of working at all four elementary schools within the VCSC.
Dr. Lange is married to Jonathan Lange and they have 3 girls that all attend VCSC schools. She has a middle school student, and two elementary school students. The girls keep her busy with dance, cheer, basketball, softball, tumbling, and musicals.
Mrs. Michele Fleck: Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Fleck has worked in the VCSC for the past five years. The 2017-18 school year is the first year that Mrs. Fleck joins the Curriculum and Instruction team. A Red Hill High School graduate, Mrs. Fleck and her husband Marc, reside in Vincennes. They are the proud parents of Monica, Montgomery, Madison and Mabry. All four children have either attended or are currently enrolled in the VCSC.
