20th CENTURY CHEVY AUTOMOTIVE SCHOLARSHIP

This is a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior who has an interest in automotive and plans to participate in a post-secondary automotive program or technical/vocational field of study.  Applications are in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 21, 2017.

 

AMERICAN LEGION SCHOLARSHIPS

The Vincennes American Legion Post 73 announces their scholarships to graduating Knox County seniors.  The scholarship application must include high school cumulative GPA, choice of college and goals after graduation.  Information is available in Mrs. Shepard’s office.  Applications must be received by April 22, 2017.

 

ASQ EVANSVILLE-OWENSBORO SECTION 0915

The ASQ is offering a $500 scholarship for graduating seniors in their service area.  Applications and details about the scholarship can be found at www.asq0915.com.  Applications are due by email on March 31, 2017.

 

CLARK MIDDLE SCHOOL LAPTOP SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for a CMS alumna who holds a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 21, 2017

 

EDNA TAGUE COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is through the AngelWorx Volunteer Advisory Council and is for a senior who will attend Vincennes University in the fall.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 14, 2017.


FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

This is a monetary award to a deserving student who is in good standing with above average academic success, and realizes that their experience as a student has helped to make them the kind of person they are becoming.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 21, 2017 to Franklin Elementary School. 

 

FRITCHTON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Fritchton Alumni Association awards a scholarship to graduating seniors who will continue their education next fall.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 7, 2017

 

INDIANA SHERIFFS’ ASSOCIATION

This $500 scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree in the criminal justice field.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 1, 2017.


KNOX COUNTY FARM BUREAU

Knox County Farm Bureau is offering scholarships for students pursing a career in agriculture or a related field.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 4, 2017

 

MELISSA ROSE ZIEMER SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for any LHS senior.  Preference will be given to students who have participated in choral arts and/or musical theatre productions.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 1, 2017.

 

PACE JUDITH K. BOBE SCHOLARSHIP

The Judith K. Bobe Scholarship is for graduating seniors who were previous PACE Head Start students.  Applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 31, 2017.

 

RILEY ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

Applications for outstanding alumni from Riley Elementary are now available in Mrs. Shepard’s office.  Completed applications must be returned to Mrs. Marchino at Riley Elementary no later than April 1, 2017,


RITA BARKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Old Northwest Running Club is once again doing the Rita Barker Memorial Scholarship for Knox County Seniors who have participated in Cross country or Track. Applications can be found on the running club’s website: www.onwrc.org. Applications are due April 5, 2017

 

ROTARY CHARLES CRONENWETT SCHOLARSHIP    

The Vincennes Rotary Club will offer the Charles Cronenwett Academic Scholarship to graduating seniors.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.  Applications and additional criteria are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by Friday, March 17, 2017.

 

ROTARY “SERIVCE ABOVE SELF” SCHOLARSHIP

This Vincennes Rotary offers this scholarship to graduating seniors.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 31, 2017.  


SPIRIT OF VINCENNES RENDEZVOUS SCHOLARSHIP

This $500 scholarship is warded to a senior with plans to attend Vincennes University in the fall.  Applications and criteria are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 17, 2017. 

 

TECUMSEH-HARRISON ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

This is a monetary award for a LHS senior who is a deserving, former student in good standing.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due to Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary School by April 17, 2017.

 

TECUMSEH-HARRISON SHERRY CARTER SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for a LHS senior in honor of Sherry Carter.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due to Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary School by April 17, 2017.

  

TROPICANA EVANSVILLE PROJECT 21 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Project 21 is an education program designed to communicate the consequences associated with under aged gambling.  High school students, grades 9-12, can submit posters, Essays, and/or Videos/DVDS.  Submissions must be made by April 7, 2017.  Information is available in Mrs. Shepard’s office.

 

VIGO ELEMENTARY OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARD

Applications for the Vigo Elementary Outstanding Alumni Award are available to interested students.  Applications are due March 31, 2017 and available in Mrs. Shepard’s office.

 

VINCENNES EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The VEF offers five scholarships to graduating LHS students pursuing secondary education.  Each scholarship is valued at $1,500 and is a one-time payment.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due to the VCSC Administration office by April 14, 2017.

 

VINCENNES KIWANIS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP AWARD APPLICATION

This scholarship is for active Key Club members with a cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher with community service activities.  Preference will be given to students attending Vincennes University or with Kiwanis family affiliation and financial need. Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 31, 2017.

 

VINCENNES UNIVERSITY TRI KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP

Tri Kappa offers scholarship opportunities of at least $500 to graduating seniors of Lincoln High School.  Students must attend Vincennes University and hold a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8 or higher. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by Monday, March 31, 2017.
