ASQ EVANSVILLE-OWENSBORO SECTION 0915

The ASQ is offering a $500 scholarship for graduating seniors in their service area.  Applications and details about the scholarship can be found at www.asq0915.com.  Applications are due by email on March 31, 2017.

 

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION SCHOLARSHIP

This $500 award is for graduating seniors planning on attending college in the State of Indiana.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due before

March 1, 2017.

 

DON E. MILLER ACADEMIC SOCIETY SCHOALRSHIP

The Done E. Miller scholarship is for graduating LHS seniors who are in the top 50% of their graduating class.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by February 3, 2017.

 

ETFCU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 

The Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union will provide a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to ten graduating seniors.  To qualify, seniors must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher and be a member or have parent/guardians who are members of ETFCU for at least one year.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 3, 2017.

 

FRITCHTON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Fritchton Alumni Association awards a scholarship to graduating seniors who will continue their education next fall.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 7, 2017

 

GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

GSH Foundation offers several scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by February 28, 2017.

 

HARMONY SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP

Graduating seniors may apply for a Harmony Society Scholarship.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 15, 2017.

 

MELISSA ROSE ZIEMER SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for any LHS senior.  Preference will be given to students who have participated in choral arts and/or musical theatre productions.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by April 1, 2017.

 

MR. TOM ERNST SCHOLARSHIP

The Academic Society offers a scholarship to graduating seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by February 3, 2017.

 

 

MR. JAMES PITTMAN SCHOALRSHIP

The LHS Academic Society offers this scholarship to graduation seniors who are the first one to attend college in his/her immediate family, maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plans to go into the field of Education.

 

NANCY JAYNES MEMMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

This scholarship opportunity from the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust seeks applicants whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer.  Information regarding the scholarship and application can be found at www.breastcancerplate.org.  Applications are due by February 3, 2017.

 

OLD NATIONAL BANK STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships for ONB members who have a Kid$ Start Savings account or ONB Student Checking account are available for graduating seniors.  Applications are due by March 3, 2017 and available at oldnational.com/scholarships. 

 

OSCAR L. DUNN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Oscar L. Dunn is an academic scholarship for students who graduate from Lincoln High School and plan to attend Vincennes University.  Recipients must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by Friday, February 24, 2017.

 

PACE JUDITH K. BOBE SCHOLARSHIP

The Judith K. Bobe Scholarship is for graduating seniors who were previous PACE Head Start students.  Applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 31, 2017.

 

ROTARY CHARLES CRONENWETT SCHOLARSHIP    

The Vincennes Rotary Club will offer the Charles Cronenwett Academic Scholarship to graduating seniors.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.  Applications and additional criteria are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by Friday, March 17, 2017.

 

ROTARY “SERIVCE ABOVE SELF” SCHOLARSHIP

This Vincennes Rotary offers this scholarship to graduating seniors.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 31, 2017.  

 

 

TROPICANA EVANSVILLE PROJECT 21 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Project 21 is an education program designed to communicate the consequences associated with under aged gambling.  High school students, grades 9-12, can submit posters, Essays, and/or Videos/DVDS.  Submissions must be made by April 7, 2017.  Information is available in Mrs. Shepard’s office.

 

VINCENNES KIWANIS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP AWARD APPLICATION

This scholarship is for active Key Club members with a cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher with community service activities.  Preference will be given to students attending Vincennes University or with Kiwanis family affiliation and financial need. Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by March 13, 2017.

 

VINCENNES UNIVERSITY TRI KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP

Tri Kappa offers scholarship opportunities of at least $500 to graduating seniors of Lincoln High School.  Students must attend Vincennes University and hold a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8 or higher. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by Monday, March 31, 2017.

 

WIN ENERGY REMC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

This is for students whose parents are members of WIN Energy REMC.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.0 or higher.  Applications are available in Mrs. Shepard’s office and due by February 17, 2017.
