This is a daily two hour class for those seniors interested in a teaching career. Periods one and two are spent at a local elementary school assisting a teacher assigned to the student by the assistant superintendent. The student is also responsible for weekly logs and three typewritten papers three-five pages in length.

Prerequisite: "C" average or better and application and interview with instructor of the moderate and severe program.
This is a one hour class that can be taken one or more semesters depending on space availability. This class is geared for students interested in assisting with the moderately mentally handicapped students. Attendance is extremely important. Grades are determined by attendance, attitude, and responsibility.

Ap is a program of college-level courses and exams that gives secondary school students an opportunity to gain advanced placement and/or credit in college. More than 90 percent of the colleges attended by AP candidates grant credit and/or placement to students whose AP Examination grades are considered acceptable.
Specific classes at Lincoln High School are offered in Advanced Placement Government, Advanced Placement Economics, and Advanced Placement Calculus. AP exams are offered in the following areas: Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Language and Composition, Literature and Composition, French, German, Government, European History, American History, Latin, Calculus, Music, Physics, and Spanish.
The benefits of an AP Program are numerous. Advanced placement in college allows students to avoid repeating work already done. Students can also take advanced courses in the AP subject, explore other subjects that interest them and join honors and other special programs.

Classes simulate the procedures and methods of an architectural office: working drawings are prepared on the board (manually) and on the computer (CAD), and presentation drawings are prepared for marketing purposes.
