Cost and Affordability

  1. Early College families will incur three main costs, which are all subject to change.
  2. Technology and school fees, similar to the rest of the high school.
  3. College class fees:
  • Classes taught by LHS staff cost $25 per credit hour.
  • Classes taught by VU staff cost $75 per credit hour.
  • Students on free and reduced lunch do not pay tuition costs for any classes taught by LHS staff, but still must pay text book and additional fees on occasion.

3. Students are responsible for purchasing the college text book and paying a lab fee, if applicable to the course.

The total cost for the 30 hour program, excluding the LHS technology and book rental fee, is approximately $1,000 to $2,500.  If these same courses are completed on campus at Vincennes University, these courses would cost approximately $4,700 prior to purchasing text books.

Tuition fees must be paid in full prior to registration or the student will not earn college credit.
