Karl Benz

A genius was born in Karlsruhe, Baden Germany. He was born on November 25, 1844. He invented the first three-wheeled car. Later on in life he invented the second four-wheeled car. The time period was 1885. General Gordon was killed while fighting the British Army. He lived to be 85 years old. Do you know who he is?

His name is Karl Fredrich Benz. His anniversary is November 30,1882. He was married to Bertha Ringer. She was a huge

part of his work.

They had five wonderful

Children together. Phillip Benz is Karl's father.

His sweet mother's name is Caroline Boseker.

Benz thought he was hopeless in business.

But Bertha believed in him all along. Mr. Benz was upset because he found out the hard way

That he had taken the wrong road in life. Mrs. Ringer didn't have any doubts in him. In his business he had a partner named August Ritter.

His company was called The Iron Machine Shop.

It is a suplier of building supplies. For Karl's

education he attended at the Karlsruhe Grammar School. Later on after grammar school Karl attended at Karlsruhe Polytechnic University. A very long time after he graduated from collage he founded his first company in 1871.

Karl was a German mechanical engineer.

Mr. Benz built the worlds first automobile. An international combustion engine powered it.

January 29, 1886 Benz received his first customer. His customer went home satisfied with his new three-wheeled car. Later on in 1891 Mr. Benz created a four-wheeled car.

The people in our world today remember Karl

Fredrich Benz. He set a big example because he showed the people through the generations how to create cars. Someone remodeled the mercadides. Who ever makes the cars now makes them bigger and better. If we didn't have cars today we would have to walk everywhere like school, church, work, and anywhere else you wanted to go. A lot more people would be skinnier. Not so many people in the world would be obese. Everyone would be healthier. But there is a bad side to that. If you had to rush to the hospital and you lived on the opposite end of town that would be bad. Don't forget if you had tons of heavy grocery bags to carry home. Well we need to be grateful he did that for us. He helped us make better cars. Even though he is not alive his spirit is with us.
