Welcome to Franklin Elementary School

Andrew Malone - Franklin Elementary Principal

Hello! My name is Andrew Malone, principal of Franklin Elementary. I’m excited to share all of the wonderful things happening in our school and invite you to learn more about what makes Franklin such a special place to learn and grow.

At Franklin Elementary, we believe that relationships matter. We are proud to be a school where students are known, valued, supported, held accountable, and encouraged to be their very best. From our dedicated teachers to our caring support staff, our entire Franklin family works together to create a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, connected, and ready to learn.

Our teachers are committed to providing students with strong academic foundations while helping them develop the skills they need for continued success. Through high-quality instruction, our Title I and special education programs, and a commitment to meeting the individual needs of every learner, we work to ensure that all students have the opportunity to grow academically. We place a strong emphasis on developing effective readers, critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and independent learners.

We also understand that educating the whole child goes beyond academics. Our students are taught important social-emotional skills that help them build positive relationships, work collaboratively with others, make responsible decisions, manage emotions, and navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. We believe these life skills are essential to helping students become successful both in and out of the classroom.

Franklin Elementary also offers several academic and extracurricular opportunities including basketball, robotics, spell bowl, math bowl, and more. At Franklin, we want every student to have the opportunity to become the best version of themselves-academically, socially, and personally.

We are proud to be Home of the Vikings and future Alices, and we are excited about all that the future holds for our students and families. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Franklin Elementary, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Go Vikings!
