Teachers helping students in the classroom

The Vincennes Community School Corporation (VCSC) is proud to celebrate two teachers who have recently become fully licensed to teach special education.

Whitney Clinton and Brayden Brown successfully completed the Indiana Special Education Assisted Licensure (I-SEAL) program.

The I-SEAL program addresses Indiana’s special education teacher shortage by providing financial and academic support to educators.

Through I-SEAL, current teachers can complete graduate coursework to earn their special education licensure at no cost.

Funded by federal grants, the program ensures that more students with disabilities have access to qualified special education teachers.

She lives in Washington with her husband, three children—who attend Vigo Elementary—and their lively household of pets.
