This survey is for parents or guardians of students in our district. Please complete a survey for each child that attends one of our schools. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous; survey data is gathered through our partners at Indiana University who will review the results with us.
Our teachers and administrators truly care about your feedback and appreciate your time letting us know about your family’s experiences through this survey. Results will help us provide necessary resources and foster the active involvement of families through schools and the community.

Happy Soggy Homecoming 2024!
The VCSC working with many others has made some changes to Homecoming internally and primarily this impacts our students. The Homecoming Parade will now take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 3:45 PM. The Homecoming Court and coronation will take place at Inman Field next Friday, October 4, 2024, as well as we have a home football game next Friday, in addition to the game that is scheduled for tonight.
The VCSC will continue with our originally planned Early Release today, September 27, 2024. The VCSC will NOT have Early Release on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, for Professional Development, but we will have Early Release next Friday, October 4, 2024, for internal homecoming activities.
As it pertains to Homecoming activities from outside groups, communication will likely need to come from the organizers of these events. We do know that the sock hop scheduled for Adams Coliseum tomorrow is still on as planned. The Distinguished Alumni ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM in Adams Coliseum tomorrow evening.
As it pertains to the football game for this evening, this is still on as originally scheduled, but if changes are needed to be made these will be communicated from the athletic department.
We realize that this creates some inconveniences for some and especially those who have traveled in from out of town to celebrate and enjoy the fellowship with their former classmates, but with the weather, it was the best option for us internally.
We know that Homecoming is one of the most special events that occurs within the Vincennes Community School Corporation and specifically for Lincoln High School. We welcome home all our former alumni, in addition to those who live here in Vincennes that look forward to celebrating their alma mater each year. Hopefully, folks will still enjoy their time with each other this weekend and for us internally that we will have far better weather to work with next Friday.
Enjoy Homecoming both today and then again next Friday, October 4, 2024.
Go Alices!
