Thank you for visiting the Vigo Elementary website! We are excited to share all of the great things taking place in our building.

Vigo Elementary is truly a family atmosphere, from the warm, caring teachers that work here, to the support staff who regularly show their love to help children, the staff at Vigo truly care about students and want to watch them grow.

Our dedicated teachers, along with our Title I and special education departments have the tools and skills to prepare students to become effective readers. In addition, our faculty directs effort toward developing skills like critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving. We utilize a Social-Emotional curriculum specifically targeted toward elementary students to help them develop skills in building and maintaining relationships, working with others, make responsible decisions, and manage emotions.

Vigo Elementary also offers a number of academic and athletic extracurricular opportunities including basketball, robotics, student council, spell bowl, math bowl, and more. At Vigo, students truly have the opportunity to become the most well-rounded version of themselves possible.
