On Thursday morning, members of Lincoln High School’s National Honor Society gathered for a celebratory breakfast honoring the accomplishments of the group’s senior members.
The annual event served as a meaningful send-off for the graduating students, highlighting their dedication to academic excellence and service to the community.
During the breakfast, senior NJHS members were recognized and presented with their honor cords, which they will wear at graduation.
These cords are a symbol of their commitment to scholarship, leadership, character, and service. All seniors honored at the event have fulfilled the service and NHS requirements necessary to receive this distinction.
Students who joined NJHS mid-year were also acknowledged for their contributions, showing that service and excellence are welcome at any point in a student’s academic journey.
The following seniors were recognized:
David Brasseur, Mattilyn Collins, Blake Green, Gage Hagood, Luke Hall, Thomas Harmon, Zoe Herron, Macey Jenkins, Katelyn Jones, Brady Kirwer, Aaliyah Kohlhouse, Lorine Lorial, Madison Lovellette, True Mahrenholz, Kahre McCrary, Maleah Phegley, McKenna Poyser, Tiah Riggs, Joel Sanders, Brooklyn Tredway, Olivia Wehrman, Jonathan Whitson, Iva Wisley, and Amya Woodall.
