On Friday, members of the Emergency Services Club had the opportunity to see a live demonstration from Vincennes Police Department’s K9 unit. Sgt. Caswell and his K9 partner, Boca, showed students how police dogs are trained, what they can detect, and how they serve our community.
Thank you to Sgt. Caswell for taking time out of his day to share Boca’s impressive skills with our students!

ATTENTION FAMILIES: Rumors are circulating on social media, but there is no incident or threat at our schools.
All VCSC buildings remain safe.
ATTENTION PARENTS: The VCSC has added some features to PowerSchool, and will be adding more soon to the parent/guardian portal (website and app) to increase communication and share more information to families. Below is a link to our corporation website for a PowerSchool Help page that has documents and videos to help with all of these additions. We will continue to add and update this website as we add more features to PowerSchool.
The main area that we would like to point out is that the top video of the below website informs families on how to turn on their notifications in the PowerSchool app so that anytime information is shared or sent out by the teacher or school families can receive an email and/or a push notification on their phones when that information is sent out.

Today our students teamed up with their classmates for a fun and spirited challenge—Pass the Class Flag! Throughout the day, students worked together using digital cameras to capture as many creative pictures as possible with their class flag.
Hundreds of pictures were taken! Each photo earned their class points, and bonus points were awarded for creativity. From hallways to staff offices, the flags made their way all across LHS!
A big thank you to everyone who participated and showed off their school spirit. The winning class will be announced at the Pep Session on Friday—we can’t wait to see who takes home the bragging rights!
