Welcome to Lincoln High School

Shea Duke - Lincoln High School Principal
Welcome to Lincoln High School! It is an honor to serve as principal of a school with such a rich history, strong traditions, dedicated staff and wonderful students. At LHS, we are proud of where we have been, excited about where we are going, and committed to preparing every student who walks through our doors for success in life.
We believe the high school experience should open doors for students. At Lincoln, that means providing opportunities for every student to figure out what they enjoy, recognize what they do well, and begin making decisions about where they want to go next. Our strong Early College program allows students to earn significant college credit while still in high school, including the opportunity to complete the Indiana College Core or even an associate degree. Students can also pursue career and technical education, work-based learning, industry certifications, and other hands-on experiences that prepare them to enter college, the workforce, the military, or whatever path they choose after graduation.
Of course, programs and opportunities are only part of the LHS story. Our teachers are the heart of our school. They challenge students, support them, build relationships with them, and invest countless hours helping them grow into capable, confident young adults. We want our students to leave Lincoln with more than a diploma. We want them to leave with the knowledge, skills, confidence, relationships, and experiences that will serve them throughout their lives.
There is also truly something for everyone at LHS. Our students have opportunities to compete in athletics, perform on stage, make music, serve their community, lead organizations, join clubs, develop new interests, and create memories that will last long after graduation. We are proud of the traditions that generations of Alices have built, while continuing to create new opportunities and experiences for today's students. Our move to a new athletic conference has brought another exciting chapter to Lincoln, creating new competition and new traditions while maintaining the pride that has always defined our school.
Being an Alice means being part of something bigger than yourself. It means joining generations of students, staff, families, and community members who have walked these halls, cheered from our stands, celebrated our successes, and taken pride in Lincoln High School. Whether you are a current student, a future Alice, a parent, an alumnus, or a member of our community, we hope you feel that sense of connection when you visit LHS.
As you explore our website, I hope you get a glimpse of the opportunities, people, and traditions that make us proud to call Lincoln home. There is a lot happening at LHS, and we are excited about what lies ahead for our students and our school.
