100 Day

Riley Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school by turning an ordinary school day into a memorable milestone.

Many Wildcats, and even teachers, arrived dressed as if they were 100 years old, showing off gray hair, glasses, canes, and imaginative outfits that brought plenty of smiles and laughter to the hallways.

In Mrs. Burke’s class, students even changed their names to “old people” names like Gladys and Marv.

Classrooms were filled with hands-on activities designed around the number 100.

Students counted and sorted items such as snacks and classroom materials into groups of 100 to strengthen their math skills.

Reading also played a role in the celebration, with students enjoying books centered on the number 100.

Students also made hats proclaiming they are 100 days smarter.

The day served as a reminder that every lesson and every school day adds up to big accomplishments.
