This week, we celebrate National Dean of Students Week—and we’re proud to recognize Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary’s very own, Lauren Hinz.

Mrs. Hinz is a great asset to Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary, making a difference each day for our Eagles through her dedication and care for students.

“The thing I respect the most about Mrs. Hinz is that her main focus is to help build confidence in students and to help them grow,” said Principal Jono Connor.

Mrs. Blome’s third grade class had something to celebrate… their WOW Party!

To mark the occasion, students got to choose their reward—and they picked a snack everyone could enjoy together.

The class created their own trail mix, mixing up a fun (and tasty) way to celebrate their hard work and positive behavior.

Here are a few pictures:

We’re Rockin’ Our Socks at Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary! 🧦💙💛 World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on March 21. Since that falls on a Saturday this year, we’ll be celebrating together on Monday, March 23! Students and staff are invited to wear their most colorful, mismatched socks as we “Rock Our Socks” in support of individuals with Down syndrome. Why socks? Because chromosomes look a bit like socks—and 3/21 represents the uniqueness of the extra 21st chromosome. Show us your socks and help us spread the message: Be kind. Be inclusive. Be proud to be YOU.
