Academic Banquet

Lincoln High School celebrated academic excellence last night at the annual Academic Banquet, an event dedicated to recognizing students in grades 10 through 12 who have achieved a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

Hosted by the Academic Society, the evening brought together students, families, and educators to honor the hard work and dedication of LHS scholars.

The banquet has long been a tradition at Lincoln, marking a proud moment in the school year as students are celebrated for their commitment to academic success.

Lorine Lorial

Lorine has been active in student leadership, serving as a class officer and holding secretary and vice-president roles on Student Council. She earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is a member of National Honor Society and the LHS Academic Society. At Lincoln, she participated in cross country (manager), dance (co-captain), track, and was a wrestling manager. She received awards including Outstanding Dancer of the Year and Alumni Scholarships. She’s also involved in Palices and was recognized as Student of the Week. Lorine gives back through Key Club, Rotary Young Leaders, and other clubs like Champions Together, YAC, and Interact. She volunteers at the hospital, nursing home, George Rogers Clark Memorial, and at her church. She’s worked at Rainbow Beach and Bridgepoint. Lorine plans to study biology with minors in psychology and Spanish, with the goal of attending medical school.

Blake Green

Blake earned academic honors and is a member of National Honor Society and the LHS Academic Society. He played football, basketball, and baseball, earning awards like All-Conference First Team and Academic All-State. He’s part of the Football Club, Offensive Linc Club, and V-Men. Blake has worked at McDonald’s and plans to attend Hanover College to study mechanical engineering.

Thomas “Trey” Harmon

Trey earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is in the National Honor Society and LHS Academic Society. He participated in football, baseball, and track, and was recognized with several football honors including Academic All-State. He’s a member of the Football Club, Offensive Linc Club, V-Men, and YAC. Trey has volunteered at Shop with a Cop, local churches, and The Lord’s Warehouse. He works at JMR Farms and plans to attend Wabash College, where he will play football.

Brooklyn Tredway

Brooklyn earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is a member of the LHS Academic Society and National Honor Society. She was a member of the volleyball team and part of Palices. She’s worked at Good Samaritan Hospital through the Health Care Academy and at Franklin Elementary’s After School Daycare. Brooklyn plans to attend VU for nursing.

Aaliyah Kohlhouse
Parents: Ashley and Jordan Kohlhouse
Aaliyah has served as a class officer and Student Council member. She earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is a National Honor Society member. She was a school mascot and played soccer and softball, earning athletic awards including Soccer Defensive Player of the Year. She’s active in clubs like FCA, Champions Together, Cheerblock, Interact, and JAG, and earned first place at a JAG Creative Decision Making competition. Aaliyah is deeply involved in volunteering with schools, church, and community programs. She’s worked at Culver’s, Rainbow Beach, Bill Bobe’s, and in VCSC’s after-school program. She plans to study elementary education with a minor in Spanish at VU.

Kahre McCrary
Parents: Scott and Chris McCrary
Kahre earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is in the LHS Academic Society and National Honor Society. She played basketball, volleyball, and softball, receiving numerous athletic awards for her skills and attitude. She’s involved in Palices and was named Student of the Week. Kahre volunteers at church, Camp Memiki, and Shop with a Cop. She’s worked various jobs including babysitting and at Good Samaritan Hospital. She plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College to study psychology and continue playing basketball.

Alandra Ivers
Alandra earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is in the LHS Academic Society. She played soccer and volunteers as a youth assistant coach. She plans to attend Ivy Tech to study nursing.

Iva Wisley
Parents: Kelly and Ivan Wisley
Iva earned an Academic Honors Diploma and is a member of National Honor Society and LHS Academic Society. She participated in soccer and served as a softball manager. She’s active in many school clubs and was named Student of the Week. Iva volunteers through her church, at community events, and with youth programs. She works at Rainbow Beach and the YMCA. Iva plans to attend VU for business administration and leadership.

True Mahrenholz
Parents: Melinda Miller and Mark Jones
True served on Student Council and is vice president of National Honor Society. She participated in Spell Bowl and Super Bowl teams and earned an Academic Honors Diploma. She played golf and received the Mental Attitude and Most Improved awards. She’s active in Palices and volunteers through Key Club and Youth Leadership. True also leads the Science Club and is involved in Interact and YAC. She’s worked at Marshalls and plans to study hearing and language science at Purdue.

Lainey Snyder

Lainey is a member of the LHS Academic Society and earned an Academic Honors Diploma. She played basketball and softball, participated in Palices, and received top placements at JAG competitions. She’s involved in FCA, Champions Together, and Cheerblock. She’s worked at Ginger Ale’s, Vincennes Cub League, and in the VCSC After School Daycare. Lainey plans to attend Butler University to study pharmacy.

Mylee Muranaka

Mylee has been involved in Student Council and earned academic recognition. She lettered in cheerleading, dance, and tennis and was named Student of the Week. She’s in the Champions Together Club and volunteers with Helping His Hands. Mylee works at a tumbling studio and plans to study business marketing at VU and Utah Tech University.

Cade Wininger
