ABOUT THE VINCENNES EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Founded in 1994, the Vincennes Education Foundation (VEF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to provide alumni, community members, patrons, and other friends of the Vincennes Community School Corporation a charitable way to support local education.
Guided by the motto “Excellence in Education,” the Foundation is committed to helping each school within the corporation offer students the best educational opportunities possible.
Since its inception, the VEF has distributed more than $350,000 in grants directly to classrooms. These grants have funded technology, books, equipment, and other learning materials—each item specifically requested by teachers and educators across all grade levels.
The Foundation also seeks grant funding from outside sources to support areas of need that may not be covered by traditional means.
Each year, the VEF awards scholarships to graduating seniors at Lincoln High School through an application process coordinated by the school’s guidance office.
