VCSC's Little Alice Learning Center is taking another step forward in promoting early literacy.
The Pre-K school received a $1,000 donation from the Knox County Community Foundation through the Knox Gives Grant Program.
The money will be used to purchase additional books for each classroom.
"I chose Little Alice Learning Center because it is already making a positive impact on the community and the students it serves. This donation will help them to aid their mission of early literacy," said KCCF Board Member Andrew Hinz.
“We are incredibly grateful for this generous contribution,” said Principal Kelley McCarty.
The Vincennes Community School Corporation (VCSC) appreciates the support of the Knox County Community Foundation and its commitment to education.
Investments like these not only benefit the students of today but also strengthen the future of the community.
