Graduating seniors at Vincennes Lincoln High School have several scholarship opportunities available to support their educational journey. Below are details on eight scholarships, including eligibility criteria and application deadlines.
Vincennes Education Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is available to Lincoln High School seniors who meet the following requirements:
Must be a current senior at Vincennes Lincoln High School
Cannot be related to a member of the Vincennes Education Foundation Scholarship Committee
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 after seven semesters
Must plan to enroll in a fully accredited postsecondary institution in the fall following graduation
Application Deadline: March 14 by 1:30 p.m.
Trilogy Health Services Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship supports students pursuing a career in healthcare with an interest in working with the geriatric population. Eligible applicants must:
Reside in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin (college attendance does not have to be in the same state)
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Be a current high school senior or a rising college freshman
Maintain good academic standing to receive recurring scholarship funds
Submit an updated resume and transcript annually for renewal consideration

UNCF STEM Scholarship
This scholarship aims to support underrepresented students pursuing STEM education. Applicants must:
Be a high school senior
Identify as African American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native
Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or national
Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale
Have taken a rigorous high school curriculum in math and science, including pre-calculus

Tom Ernst Scholarship
This scholarship requires:
A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
A paper application, which is available outside Mrs. Fulk’s office
Application Deadline: March 31 by 3:15 p.m.
Don E. Miller Scholarship
This scholarship is open to college-bound seniors who rank in the top 50% of their graduating class. Paper applications can be picked up outside Mrs. Fulk’s office.

Decker Chapel Alumni Association Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to two graduating seniors who meet the following criteria:
Must be a direct descendant of a Decker Chapel High School graduate
Must plan to attend a recognized vocational/trade school or academic institution this fall
Paper applications are available outside Mrs. Fulk’s office
Application Deadline: April 1
Indiana Oil and Gas Scholarship
This scholarship supports students planning to pursue careers in the oil and gas industry. Eligible applicants must:
Be a resident of Indiana, Illinois, or Kentucky and attend an accredited college, or be a non-resident attending an Indiana-accredited college
Be a graduating high school senior, a homeschool graduate, or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program
Plan to attend college in the upcoming fall
Pursue a bachelor's degree with preference given to majors in Earth Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geology
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrate financial need as determined by the scholarship committee
Submit an original short essay detailing their interest in the oil and gas industry and intended career path (previously submitted essays should not be reused)
Provide at least one letter of recommendation from a mentor, educator, or oil and gas industry professional
Must not be an immediate family member of a Scholarship Committee member of the Indiana Oil and Gas Association or be ineligible under the Indiana Code of Ethics for state employees and appointees

Judith K. Bobe Scholarship
This scholarship is open to seniors from any of the four Knox County high schools who meet the following criteria:
Must have been enrolled in the Head Start Program in the Indiana counties of Daviess, Greene, Knox, or Sullivan
Must be accepted into an accredited college, university, community college, or recognized technical/trade school at the time the award is issued (graduate students are not eligible)
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of the fall semester of their senior year
Paper applications are available outside Mrs. Fulk’s office
