First Founders

Vincennes Lincoln High School students will take the stage at The Pantheon for the inaugural First Founders Pitch Competition, a two-night event showcasing the entrepreneurial talent of local high school students.

Representing Lincoln are Vinny Stewart, Maggie Kitchell, and Isabela Guerrero with their business, Stewart’s Funeral Home, along with Chase Miley, Chase Flanagan, and Caino Victor, who are pitching Triple C Painting.

The competition begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, April 2, at 6 p.m., followed by the finals on Thursday, April 3, at 6 p.m.

The event will be held at The Pantheon, located at 428 Main Street.

The winning team will be awarded $3,000 to help fund their startup, while the runner-up will receive $2,000, and third place will earn $1,000.

Students from South Knox, North Knox, Rivet, and Pike Central High Schools are also competing.
