It was an afternoon full of fun and excitement for kindergarten students in Mrs. Burke’s class at Riley Elementary as they celebrated Easter with a series of festive activities.
The celebration began with an Easter egg hunt on the playground, where students eagerly searched for colorful eggs hidden around the area.
Afterward, the class returned to their room to enjoy a variety of tasty snacks.
Students took a break to refuel and chat with friends before heading off to the next round of fun.
In the gym, the group played several Easter-themed games, starting with the classic egg-and-spoon race—a fun but tricky challenge that had students balancing plastic eggs on spoons while racing to the finish line.
Next up was a bunny hop sack race, where students jumped their way across the gym floor in oversized sacks, giggling with each bounce.
The afternoon wrapped up with a bunny ear ring toss, where students tried to toss rings onto a moving target—bunny ears worn by Mrs. Burke herself.
