David LaCour was officially sworn in Thursday morning at the Vincennes Community School Corporation Administration Building as the newest School Resource Officer for the VCSC Police Department.
LaCour is a 2018 graduate of Vincennes University and 2021 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
He brings valuable experience from his time with both the Vincennes University Police Department, where he served for three years, and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, where he served for two years.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at both agencies, but now I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge and continuing to serve the community through the Vincennes Community School Corporation Police Department,” said LaCour.
“I firmly believe that my true passion is helping others and making a positive impact.”
Officer LaCour will primarily be stationed at Tecumseh-Harrison Elementary School. Please join us in welcoming him to the VCSC team!
