Kolb

The Vincennes Community School Corporation is mourning the loss of Jeffrey Kolb.

Kolb was a dedicated supporter of VCSC and played an instrumental role in establishing the Vincennes Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing educational opportunities for students across the district.

He also served as a member of the Vincennes Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees and was involved in the Lincoln High School Academic Society.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Jeff Kolb. His long-standing commitment to our community and his belief in the power of education have left a meaningful impact on Vincennes students and staff,” said VCSC Superintendent Greg Parsley.

“We are grateful that his legacy will continue through contributions made to the Vincennes Education Foundation in his honor. Our thoughts are with the Kolb family during this difficult time, and we are thankful for the lasting difference Mr. Kolb made in the lives of many.”

Kolb passed away on Saturday, February 7.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Grand Banquet Hall, located at 302 Main Street in Vincennes.

The family requests that donations be made to the Vincennes Education Foundation, the Knox County Community Foundation, the YMCA, or another charity in lieu of flowers.

The entire Vincennes Community School Corporation extends its deepest condolences to Kolb’s family and friends during this difficult time.
