Together, our Bulldogs raised $134 which will be donated to the Vincennes Animal Shelter!

Our Bulldogs in kindergarten are continuing their ABC Countdown, and for the letter C, they enjoyed Cookies with Cops!
Officer Shipman, Officer Morris, Officer Archer, K-9 Uzzi, and Officer Logan Clore joined the class for the special visit.
Here are some pictures from their day!

Every dollar raised will be donated to the Vincennes Animal Shelter.
It’s a simple way to bring a little extra comfort to each students day while making a real difference for animals in our community.

Students will have scheduled class visits to shop, along with additional opportunities throughout the week to stop by and find their next favorite book.
Don’t forget to join us for Family Night on Thursday, April 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.! It’s the perfect chance to shop together, explore even more titles, and support a love of reading at home.
We hope to see you there!

Our Bulldogs are selling World’s Finest Chocolate bars for just $2 each—an easy (and delicious) way to support our school!
Fundraising forms with all the details were sent home with students on Wednesday.
In order for students to receive their box of chocolate to sell, the permission slip must be signed and returned.
All money collected will be due on April 28.
Thank you for supporting our students and PTO!

We are ready to celebrate the end of the school year with a day of fun, games, and sun on May 19th! To make this day a success for our students, we need a little help from our amazing community.
How you can help:
❄️ Cool Treats: We are looking for donations of popsicles and cases of bottled water.
🙋♂️ Volunteers: We need YOU! If you’d like to help run stations, please stop by the office to fill out a background check and notify your child’s teacher.

This week, we celebrate National Dean of Students Week—and we’re proud to recognize Vigo Elementary’s Andrew Jennings.
“Mr. Jennings, our elementary Dean of Students, is a pro at building great relationships with students, parents, and staff. Whether he is tackling safety concerns, behavioral challenges, or academic hurdles, his primary goal is always to find a path toward improvement. Best of all, his fun personality and great sense of humor make Vigo a brighter place to be,” said Principal Jill Staggs.
Thank you, Mr. Jennings, for making a difference every day for our Bulldogs!

Our Bulldogs in kindergarten hopped outside for an Easter egg hunt!

Enjoy the long weekend!

Students spent the morning “researching” the Sloof Lirpa bird (try reading that backwards!).
After completing their research, these hardworking Bulldogs were in for a sweet surprise—brown “E’s”… and yes, real brownies too.
