Students from schools across Knox County — including Lincoln High School — are getting some serious hands-on experience through the Knox County Construction program!
The program has both morning and afternoon groups working on the project, and today, the afternoon group was busy putting trusses in place at the home being built on Jennifer Drive in Vincennes.
This is only the second year for the Knox County Construction program — and already the second house students have helped build from the ground up!
It’s an incredible opportunity for students to learn real-world construction skills while creating something they’ll be able to drive by years from now and say, “I helped build that.”
The Lincoln High School community mourns the passing of Aileese Tucker, a member of the Class of 2026 who graduated in May.
