Dear VCSC Community, 

Welcome to the Vincennes Community School Corporation website.

As superintendent, I am proud to serve a school corporation that is committed to supporting students at every stage of their educational journey. At VCSC, we believe our responsibility begins long before kindergarten and continues until students cross the graduation stage prepared for success in college, careers, military service, or the workforce. 

One of the things that makes VCSC special is our commitment to meeting students where they are and providing the support, opportunities, and experiences they need to succeed. We are fortunate to offer a continuum of educational opportunities that starts with our youngest learners and continues through high school graduation. 

Our partnership with the YMCA through the Little Alice Learning Center allows us to serve three- and four-year-old children during some of the most important developmental years of their lives. By investing in early learning opportunities, we help build the foundations that prepare students for success when they enter our elementary schools. 

As students progress through our schools, we remain focused on helping every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This commitment continues through high school, where we are incredibly proud of Lincoln High School's continued achievement of a 100% graduation rate. That accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families and community. 

We are equally proud of the life-changing work taking place at Washington Learning Academy. The staff at WLA are committed to ensuring that every student has a pathway to success and an opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Their dedication and belief in students make an extraordinary difference in the lives of young people who benefit from additional support and alternative educational opportunities. 

At Lincoln High School, one of our greatest strengths is our partnership with Vincennes University through the Early College Program. This collaboration provides students with the opportunity to earn significant college credit while still in high school, helping them accelerate their educational goals, reduce the cost of higher education, and gain valuable experience in a college environment. 

Beyond academics, VCSC students excel in athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities. Our award-winning VCSC STARS program continues to showcase the remarkable talents of students across all grade levels and has become a source of pride for our entire community. 

We are also proud to operate the Vincennes Community School Corporation Police Department, which provides an additional layer of safety and security for our students and staff. Our officers work closely with school personnel and community partners to foster safe learning environments where students can focus on learning and growing. 

At VCSC, our mission is simple: start students early, support them throughout their educational journey, and help them reach the finish line prepared for a successful future.
