Deon will share his personal journey, speaking about his experiences growing up with dyslexia, his time in school, and how he overcame challenges to reach the NFL.

The event will take place:

Any student planning to participate in athletics at Clark Middle School or Lincoln High School must have a physical dated on or after April 1, 2026 to be eligible for summer and in-season activities.

Vincennes Community School Corporation is proud to support the Hometown Humor Takeover, happening April 12–15 at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.

This four-day event highlights how humor can build resilience at work and at home. On April 15, our educators will attend the “Laughter: Rx for Classroom Survival” session as part of a professional development day.

Reminder: VCSC will have an early dismissal on Tuesday, April 15

It’s finally Friday!

Just a reminder that the Vincennes Community School Corporation will have an early dismissal today. All four VCSC elementary schools will dismiss at 1:00 p.m., and Clark Middle School and Lincoln High School will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.

Once that final bell rings, Spring Break officially begins! There will be no school all next week, and we’ll welcome students back to the classroom on Monday, March 23.

Vincennes University Men’s and Women’s Basketball will take on Olney Central College during Community School Night on Wednesday, February 25 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. — and our students and families are invited to be part of the action.

Students, families, and school employees will receive:
• Free admission
• A free VU bowling pass
• Games and prizes
• Dance contests throughout the night

Even better — students 18 and under can receive a FREE Trailblazer Athletics Season Pass (with a paying adult) for all 2025–26 home athletic contests, plus free popcorn.
