While students and staff are enjoying summer break, the VCSC Police Department is still hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year.

Chief Aaron Luce, Officer Evans, Officer Morris, Officer Porter, and Officer Shipman recently attended the Indiana School Resource Officers Association (INSROA) Conference in Michigan City, where they completed training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and participated in sessions covering school safety, legal updates, and lessons learned from incidents across the country.

Their commitment to ongoing training helps ensure our schools remain safe, secure, and prepared for every student and staff member when the new school year begins.

Think back for a moment…
Who was the teacher that made an impact on you?
