Thank you to Mrs. Laura Lane's art classes at Clark Middle School for letting our office display your work this month.

One of the many things that I appreciate about our community is our greatest asset and this is our people. Time after time, when someone is in need, the community rallies. As an example of this, many within the community financially stepped up to offer their support so that three food trucks would show up at LHS on Friday and that our students would also have an additional offering from sack lunches. After our dishwasher fire on Tuesday, August 29 we did receive some considerable damage in the way of clean-up that was needed for our kitchen. Crews are working feverishly to get the kitchen back up and running. But thanks to the partnership that we already have in place with the Food Trucks through our JRTOC program and city councilman Brian Grove, they worked to get the resources in place so that every student could have something different for lunch this Friday in the way of a warm option and at no cost to the students.
So, thank you to Councilman Grove and all who stepped up to offer support. Speaks volumes about our greatest asset and this being our people.

Our Alice football players greeted students at Vigo this morning! We had a blast and look forward to greeting Franklin students tomorrow!

Good morning!
